These are the expectations for all Classroom Technologies (DoIT) wage positions:

Good customer service skills

Ability to work well with faculty, staff, students, and co-workers

Punctual attendance for assigned shifts

Complete appropriate training/orientation for unit

Follow established safety practices on the job

Understand and comply with the Responsible Use of Computing Policy

Lab/Classroom Staff:
Lab Assistants
L1: Basic knowledge of computer operations and/or basic A/V equipment operations; basic knowledge of
      software applications; demonstrated internet skills; ability to install and upgrade software/hardware
      as directed; responsible for cleaning of equipment; know who to contact for problems/where to direct
      clients for additional help; assists in checking out equipment and/or resources; other duties as assigned.

Avg. Hours: 10 - 30/wk
Position Classification: Student Wage
Brief Description:

This is a customer service help desk position.

Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet is required.

If you were offered a position you would be an L1 assistant. Pay dates are bi-weekly. Work shifts are based on the availability you give us, and are not guaranteed. Hours become available as the semester continues.
