What are the hours of operation of computer labs? |

Visit http://classtech.gmu.edu/lablocations for a complete listing of our locations and hours. During breaks, holidays, end-of-semesters, and weekends those hours may vary and will be posted under News and Events on our main web page, http://classtech.gmu.edu. |

What software is available in the computer labs? |

Visit http://classtech.gmu.edu/software.cfm for a listing of the standard software programs being offered for the current semester. |

Can I install software or save my files on the computers? |
| A: |
No. Upon reboot the computers in the labs erase all non-standard files and programs. All files should be saved frequently on removable media (i.e., floppy disk or USB thumb drive) to avoid loss of work.

What kind of assistance should I expect from the computer lab staff? |
| A: |
Lab Consultants are available to assist students with computer related issues. They may not provide assistance in any matter that would violate the Mason Honor Code Policy. |

Is there a charge for printing in the computer labs? |
| A: |
Yes. Pay-for-Print stations are available at each lab location. Black and white printing is currently offered at 8 cents per page. |

Can the computer labs be reserved? |
| A: |
No. The open computer labs cannot be reserved. Computer classrooms are reservable and are located at each campus. These computer classrooms can be reserved on an ad-hoc basis for a limited number of sessions, or by the Registrar for semester-long classes. Is there a 24-hour computer lab? |
| A: |
A 24-hour computer lab is offered only on Fairfax campus in both Johnson Center and Innovation Hall computer labs during the weekdays of pre-finals and finals each fall and spring. |

How many seats/stations do the computer labs offer? |
| A: |
Arlington-- Hazel Hall room 342 has 22 seats; Hazel Hall room 350 has 19 seats; and the Original Building room 306 has 31 seats.
Fairfax-- Innovation Hall room 301 has 141 seats, and the Johnson Center rooms 340, 341 and 343 together have 100 seats.
Prince William -- There is one computer lab in Bull Run Hall room 148 which has 76 seats.
